Trip Details
The Early Morning Special Trip at 8.45am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays gives you the same experience and around the same time ashore as our standard daily trip.
The allure and fascination of the uninhabited Treshnish Isles and Staffa, the mystique of ancient forts, ruins of a 7 centuries old chapel (the Iona connection), and a conglomeration of thousands of seabirds including puffins so tame you’ll go cross eyed, guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, fulmars, shags, skuas – the list goes on – to satisfy even the most obsessive bird enthusiast, – and as we cruise through the many tiny islets and rocks which comprise the Treshnish Isles, you will be scrutinised closely by Common and Atlantic Grey Seals. On our daily visit to these incomparable islands, we spend time ashore on Lunga, the main bird sanctuary.
On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until the end of July, you will have over 2 hours in which to study, photograph, commune and be generally entertained by the antics of our unique feathered wildlife.
De-stress on the Treshnish Isles with some puffin Therapy and commune with the many other birds, common and grey seals. Over 2 ashore.
Staffa – visit Fingal’s Cave and follow in many famous footsteps. Imagine you can hear the first few bars of Mendelssohn’s Overture in the eternal surge of the sea. 1hr ashore
